Caliber’s Mission is to help homeowners and businesses alike extend the life of their roofs, driveways, and parking lots through innovative and eco-friendly restoration treatments.

On the other hand, when Shingle Sealer is applied to Shingles that look a lot like the image below, expect the product to fall short of the desired result!
Still, there’s a better option to a total shingle replacement:
First, properly prepare the roof for the Shingle Sealer treatment: Ensure the roof is dry and free of debris. Clear any nearby vegetation or overhanging tree limbs that may contribute to such moss growth.
Second, use a Moss-Specific Killer and or Cleaner: Ideally, apply a chemical solution diluted as directed and apply it to the moss-covered areas. Allow it to sit for about 20 minutes or so before rinsing it off with a low-pressure water hose.
Cautionary Note: Moss Killers and or Cleaners are often detrimental to other plant life such as flowers, hedging or small trees that are frequently planted in close proximity to buildings. However, common sense suggests only plant life located in gutter discharge areas are at risk 🙂 🙂 🙂
Yep, this will cost a few bucks more unless you make “the roof cleaning” a DIY project. Regardless, compare that to a $20,000.00 plus shingle replacement project!
